RISE TO ADDICTION To Release New Album Next Week

November 3, 2009

RISE TO ADDICTION — the British band which features in its ranks former BLAZE members John Slater (guitar) and Steve Wray (guitar) — will release its second album, "Some Other Truth", on November 13 via Mausoleum Records. The follow-up to 2007's "A New Shade Of Black For The Soul" was produced by Wray and features 10 songs that "show inspired natural progression and focus of the RTA sound," according to a press release. "From the turbocharged rock-punk opener 'Sick of Me' via the doom-riffed 'The Whisper' to the shred-fest within 'One More Time' and the catchy hooks of 'Fade Away', RISE TO ADDICTION's 'Some Other Truth' is certainly a collection of the finest 'modern-day classic rock' delivered by a fresh band that know...understand... and show respect to their peers."
